Wine and Song Tasting - August 26 6:30 - 8:30pm

We're offering a radical approach to the wine tasting concept in August. Attendees will be able to plug in and listen to a piece of music while tasting a wine selected to compliment the aural experience.

Tickets are on sale now for $25, and attendance is limited.

Why Wine and Song? And How?

Wine and Song TastingBoth are sensory experiences. Both invite criticism and conversation, and both elicit strong reactions and opinions. It seemed to us like a pretty natural progression. And both share many of the same descriptors- subdued, lively, simple, complex....the list goes on. Here at The Wine Market we're big music fans as well as wine fans, so it seemed natural to put the two together.

Wines selected by Wine Director Lucien Walsh will be poured alongside an iPod playing the accompanying tune into a bank of headphone jacks. Attendees may bring their own headphones, or they may avail themselves of disposable units provided by us. We'll also have some room to socialize when tasters are ready to unplug and hang out. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Please call the shop at 410-244-6166 to purchase you tickets. This promises to be a very engaging event!

New Value Case

Get a great deal on a case of wine at The Wine Market! We are introducing our new value case that has six reds & six whites from around the world for only $92.99!

The Wine Market wine shop features over 900 hand selected wines. We also offer high quality spirits and beers. Let our friendly and knowledgeable staff help you find what you are looking for. We give customers a 10% discount on any six bottles of wine and 15% on any 12 bottles of wine!

We are passionate about wine at The Wine Market. We believe that world class wines should be within reach of everyone. We put a small, nine dollar corkage fee on our wines above the retail cost. So for example: a bottle of Shafer "Red Shoulder Ranch" Chardonnay would cost well over one hundred dollars at many fine dining restaurants while it is available for around sixty dollars a bottle at The Wine Market!
